Leylet Dwelling
Replacing an existing bungalow with a contemporary 4 bed detached dwelling.
Situated on a tight village site with rising ground the scale of this building was always going to be a challenge. The solution sees much of the accommodation at ground floor to keep the height of the dwelling down. The two-storey element has a ‘broken’ roof, creating interest, the opportunity to bring in natural light without overlooking and a reduction in the mass of the building.
Full height glazing takes advantage of the southerly views over the Warwickshire countryside.
